Part 3.3 of the Local Government Act (2019) provides that West Daly Regional Council is to provide a Regional Plan to the Minister which must include:

• A service delivery plan for the period; and
• the council's budget and any amended budget.

West Daly Regional Council has engaged with our constituents, through local authorities to find out what is on their 'wish list' for their community in the upcoming year. This is collated and presented in as a draft Regional Plan for public comment and amendments before it is finalised. When public comment has been noted and the budget finalised, the final Regional Plan is released. 

The Regional Plan is what the community has asked for in our wards and explains what we do, our operating environment for each projected period and how we plan to achieve our goals.
