During a recent Ordinary Council Meeting (OCM), West Daly Regional Council was pleased to welcome representatives from the Local Government Association of the Northern Territory (LGANT), including President Peter Pangquee and CEO Mary Watson. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to connect, discuss local priorities, and strengthen ongoing collaboration through meaningful discussion. Council also welcomed Craig Rowston and Rob Knight from the Office of the Hon. Marion Scrymgour, whose presentation provided valuable insights into matters affecting remote communities and the work of the Special Envoy. These engagements continue to strengthen relationships between Council and key stakeholders working towards positive outcomes for communities across the West Daly region.
