Celebrating Council Leadership and Commitment

New Title

During the recent Ordinary Council Meeting (OCM), representatives from the Northern Territory Government acknowledged and celebrated West Daly Regional Council’s Elected Members for successfully completing their mandatory training requirements under Section 45 of the Local Government Act 2019. Certificates were presented to Councillors during a small recognition ceremony held as part of the meeting, celebrating their commitment to strengthening governance knowledge and leadership within local government. West Daly Regional Council is proud to be the first Regional Council to complete the mandatory training requirements ahead of schedule, reflecting Council’s ongoing commitment to strong governance and positive outcomes for the communities it serves.
