Palumpa Local Authority

The Palumpa Local Authority gives local residents a direct voice in how West Daly Regional Council plans and delivers services for their community.


Local Authorities play an advisory role to Council, ensuring community priorities and concerns are represented in Council decisions.

Purpose

Local Authorities help strengthen the link between Council and the community by:

Providing local input into Council plans, budgets and service delivery.

Identifying community needs and opportunities for improvement.

Supporting the development of projects that reflect local priorities.

Advising Council on matters affecting the wellbeing and development of the community.

Meeting Schedule

Local Authority meetings are held quarterly at the Council Office in Palumpa.  To request to present to Local Authority, please complete the Deputation Request Form.


Meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend and share their views.
