Regional Plan

Regional Plan

The West Daly Regional Plan is refocused annually and initially presented to Council as a draft document that, following a 21 day period for public comments, is again considered by the Elected Councillors. The final Council approved Regional Plan is then tabled with the Northern Territory Government’s Minister for Local Government.

The Regional Plan outlines our key performance indicators (KPIs), strategic goals, initiatives, and financial allocations for the upcoming year. It reflects our commitment to growth, innovation, and community engagement.

Regional Plan 2026-27 is now open for public consultation.

The Regional Plan outlines Council’s priorities, services, and future direction for the West Daly region. Community members, residents, and stakeholders are encouraged to provide feedback and submissions to help shape the future of our communities.

Consultation Period:

29 May 2026 – 18 June 2026

Submit feedback via email:

governance@westdaly.nt.gov.au

All submissions received during the consultation period will be presented to Elected Members at the June Council Meeting for consideration.
