As recovery efforts continue in Palumpa following the recent flooding, West Daly Regional Council staff from Wadeye have been travelling to both Palumpa and Peppimenarti to deliver sports and recreational activities for local children.

Through a range of fun games, creative activities and interactive play, these visits provide children with opportunities to connect, stay active and simply enjoy being kids. More than just recreation, the program helps to bring a sense of normality and wellbeing during the recovery journey.West Daly Regional Council remains committed to supporting communities throughout the recovery process and looks forward to continuing these activities in the months ahead.
