On the 17 March 2022, at the Ordinary Council Meeting held in Darwin, with a full office of elected members, Council was able to vote to determine the new Mayor and Deputy Mayor. The elected members of the West Daly Regional Council voted and are proud to announce the appointment of Ralph Narburup as Mayor and Wilfred Harris as Deputy Mayor.
