Our Regional Plan 2023-2024 was adopted at the Ordinary Council Meeting held on Wednesday, 28 June 2023.

We are proud to present this year's plan with a refreshed focus that guides our capacity to capability to deliver key services to the West Daly Region.  Our Plan meets legislative requirements and we are also excited to have included some exciting new features such as;

• Revised Vision, Mission & Values
• Updated Project priority listings for each Local Authority representing the people of Wadeye, Nganmarriyanga and Peppimenarti
• Clearly defined focus areas that promote:
  • A strong Council
  • Strong, safe and healthy people
  • Developing Council for community
  • Delivering on our promises
• Feature stories outlining key projects for 2023-2024, that includes:
  • Developing the Peppimenarty Community Hub Proposal
  • Wadeye Swimming Pool refurbishment
  • West Daly Regional Councils inaugural Stategic Plan
  • Waste Management Strategy
  • Road infrastructure delivery
