Driving Positive Outcomes for Youth



West Daly Regional Council is pleased to share insights into the ongoing youth initiatives being delivered by Thamarrurr Youth Indigenous Corporation across Wadeye. As General Manager, Kevin “KK” Dumoo plays a key leadership role in overseeing the delivery and coordination of programs, ensuring activities align with the organisation’s Youth Strategy Plan and continue creating meaningful outcomes for the community. Working closely with program managers, KK supports the planning and execution of weekly activities while guiding both local and non-local staff in delivering engaging and well-structured programs. Through operational systems such as BASEAPP, program activities are tracked, reviewed, and continuously refined to strengthen participation, improve delivery, and maximise community engagement. KK also works closely with COO Andy Nicholas and regularly participates in service meetings, helping drive collaboration, accountability, and the ongoing growth of youth-focused initiatives across the region.
