Representing every Community, Every Voice.

West Daly Regional Council congratulates its newly elected 2025 Council members as they step into their roles representing communities across the region.

Their appointment builds on the strong foundations of previous Councils while bringing fresh perspectives, energy and leadership. Mayor Terry Sams brings extensive experience from previous roles as Councillor and Deputy Mayor, while Deputy Mayor Mark Tunmuck-Smith adds nearly eight years of local knowledge and continuity.

Each member brings unique insights from their communities, helping ensure all voices are heard in Council decisions. Together, the new Council brings deep connections, valuable knowledge and lived experience to West Daly, strengthening governance and guiding the Council toward a strong, inclusive and resilient future.
