West Daly Regional Council was pleased to host Dr Middleton and nursing representatives from the Menzies School of Health Research during a recent Ordinary Council Meeting. The team delivered an informative presentation on the ORVAC Study, providing valuable insights into ongoing health initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for communities across the Northern Territory. With Elected Members and representatives from the Northern Territory Government in attendance, the session created an opportunity for meaningful discussion around community wellbeing. The presentation also helped raise awareness about the importance of early childhood vaccinations and the role they play in supporting long-term health outcomes. Council acknowledges the importance of partnerships such as these in strengthening community knowledge and contributing to healthier futures across the West Daly region.
