The meeting was scheduled for 11 am and with no one arriving at 11:40 am, Mayor Narburup informed that the next Wadeye Local Authority meeting will be held 17 August 2022 and as such it is not feasible to postpone the meeting but to hold it on that date.

West Daly Regional Council thanks Leon Melpi for his dedication and service to the Wadeye Local Authority as Chairperson.

With the departure of Leon, Wadeye Local Authority is in need of a Chairperson.

For the 2022-2023 Financial year the Chairperson will earn $181.61 per meeting.
