The Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic - Information relating to the West Daly Region Community
The Covid-19 pandemic situation continues to evolve and is changing rapidly. The West Daly Regional Council (Council) takes this matter seriously because the health and wellbeing of our Communities and Council staff is paramount.

Any non-residents wanting to go into remote community must follow the requirements of land councils and local communities, including checking if there is a requirement to retain a land council permit to travel there. At this time there are restrictions and these are outlined in the Chief Health Officers Directions. Click here to access Messages in language.
The risk of COVID-19 in our communities cannot be eliminated which is why it is important for everyone to follow all health directions:
• If you have symptoms, stay away from others and get tested for COVID-19.
• Wash your hands with soap and water and use hand sanitiser regularly.
• Do not go to work if you feel sick.
• Maintain a physical distance of 1.5 metres where possible.
• Cough or sneeze into your elbow.
• Use tissues and dispose of tissues in a bin
